One day the library media center had an unwelcomed visitor. This visitor was not an ordinary human. This visitor was not even human at all. It was from Mars. It was Martian. And it was a fly. Not a little fly that we see buzzing around out doors at picnics trying to land on juicy watermelons. But a huge fly. Almost bigger than the hand of a Pre K student. This fly was from Mars and it loved to read books. So, one day when the door to the library media center was left open by a student, this Martian fly flew right in. He was in fly heaven. He went from book to book and read how to live on Earth. What to eat to not make his belly hurt. And how to avoid humans. He was having the time of his life. Until one day, he made a big mistake. The media specialist and her assistant Miss Bee and Miss Crystal saw him in the nonfiction section. They didn't know that he was an alien. They assumed he was a mutated fly that was so big that he might bite one of their students. No matter how hard they tried they were unable to catch the fly. Soon, they gave up because they had a job to do and that was to make sure all students could come in and check out great books to read as well as help students with their Chromebooks. So Miss Bee decided to trap the fly in another room so no student could be harm by the fearsome creature.

John Jr read Bible verse Matthew 5:9 Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers” Durga claimed that Peace can be experienced when we have received divine pardon with a reconciliation to God and have the harmony within, especially with God and not fellow man. 5. John Jr and Durga felt empowered through the word, power, and conviction of the gospel. They decided they would start Sharing the good news of Christ and become ready to share God with others at all times. 6. John Jr and Durga said the prayer, Father today we put on the shoes of peace, and pray that they will be firmly grounded in the good news of what Jesus did on the cross. Please help us today to dig deep if the enemy throws anything at us — remind us that You, God, have everything under control. You give us peace – a peace that surpasses all understanding

This book is about a family of four, a mom, a dad and a girl that is 9 and a boy that is 7. The story starts with the dad asking the kids if they remember the day that he got hurt at work. He is sitting on the couch and the children are sitting next to him. He then explains that he was hurt and ended up with a traumatic brain injury which is just a fancy way of saying his brain got hurt and needed time to heal again. He explains different symptoms to the children and that even though he gets mad and sad at times that it is not their fault. He loves them very much and needs them to be strong for their mom. Together they will all heal in time and he is sorry that it gets confusing at times. But he wants them to know he loves them no matter what happens.

Page 1 Once there was a princess named Maya, so bright, With a heart full of kindness and eyes of delight. Each evening she’d gaze at the stars so high, Dreaming she’d join them and dance in the sky. Page 2 One magical night, a fairy appeared, With a sparkling wand and dress that cheered. She looked like Minnie Mouse!, so graceful and sweet, Her glow lit the room, what a magical treat! Page 3 “Dear Maya,” she said, “Your heart is so pure, And tonight is a night of magic for sure. Because you’re so good and you listen to Mommy and Daddy so well, I’ll grant you one wish; now, isn’t that swell?” Page 4 Maya’s wish was to dance with the stars, To twirl and to leap on the moon and Mars. “Close your eyes, my dear, and wish from your heart.
