Together, they stood at the edge of the puddle. “On the count of three, let’s jump!” said Gus. “Okay!” Bud nodded. “One… Two… Three!” They both jumped into the muddy puddle. Splash! Mud flew everywhere! “Look at us!” Gus laughed. “We’re muddy buddies!” Just then, a little dog named Pup came over. He tilted his head and barked, “Woof! What are you doing?” “We’re having a muddy fun time!” Bud said, splashing more mud. Pup wagged his tail. “I want to join!” Gus and Bud laughed. “Okay, Pup! Jump in!” Pup jumped right into the puddle, sending mud flying. They all rolled and played until they were covered in mud from head to toe. After a while, they decided it was time to clean up. “Let’s go back to my house,” said Gus. “We can wash off in the tub!” When they got to Gus's house, his mom chuckled at the sight of the muddy friends. “Oh my! What happened to you three?” “We had the best fun in the puddle!” Gus exclaimed, grinning. His mom smiled and filled the tub with warm water. “Alright, muddy buddies, it’s bath time!” After their bath, Gus, Bud, and Pup sat together on the porch, drying off in the sun. “That was the best day ever!” Bud said. “Let’s do it again tomorrow!” Gus replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. As Julia got a little older, she realized that she didn't really like the mask she was wearing. It didn't feel right. So, she found a new mask to wear around different people. With her family, she wore a mask that made her look serious and responsible. With her friends, she wore a mask that made her look funny and carefree. Years went by, and Julia collected many masks. Each mask was different, shaped by the people she met and the things that happened in her life. Some masks were colorful and bright, while others were dull and plain. Julia wore these masks every day, changing them depending on who she was with. But as Julia grew older, she noticed something. Wearing all these different masks was tiring. It was like carrying a heavy bag all the time. By the time Julia was an adult she decided that enough was enough. She didn't want to wear different masks anymore. One day, Julia took off all her masks. She was scared because no one had ever seen her without a mask. Not even Julia herself! But something wonderful happened. Not wearing a mask was relaxing. Julia felt light and carefree. And then, something magical happened. By being herself, Julia spread love to everyone around her. People saw the real Julia and loved her just as she was. Later that night, Mindy, Kayla's mom, reminds Kayla that she should use her words and tell Bobby she doesn't like it when he is touching her without her consent. The next day, when Bobby is picking on Kayla, she uses her words and says she doesn't like that. Bobby understands and plays nicely with Kayla. Ms. Melanie, their teacher, notices and praises Kayla for using her words. Everyone is happy and playing together.

"I have an idea!" said Ben. He got a big stick. He poked the hat. Plop! The hat fell down. Ben put it back on his head. "Hooray!" said Sam. "The big red hat is back!" With their picnic basket in tow, they skipped and giggled their way to the park. The grass was lush and green, the flowers were blooming in vibrant colors, and the air was filled with the sound of birdsong. They found a perfect spot under a shady tree and spread out their blanket. Quackers poured the lemonade into cups, while Bao arranged the snacks. Just as they were about to dig in, they realized something was missing. 'Where's our picnic basket?' Bao asked, his eyes wide with worry. Quackers searched the ground frantically. 'It's gone! Who would have taken it?' They looked around and noticed a group of sly foxes lurking nearby. Quackers and Bao confronted the foxes, but they denied any wrongdoing. Undeterred, they decided to follow the foxes. They trailed them through a winding path and into a dark cave. There, in the center of the cave, was their missing picnic basket! The foxes had stolen it to have a feast of their own. Quackers and Bao were furious. They charged at the foxes, quacking and growling. The foxes were taken by surprise and quickly surrendered. With their picnic basket safely retrieved, Quackers and Bao rushed back to the park. They spread out their blanket once again and enjoyed their well-deserved feast. As they ate their delicious snacks and sipped on their lemonade, they couldn't help but laugh at their adventure. They had solved a mystery, outsmarted the foxes, and had a wonderful picnic in the beautiful park.
