deux petites filles s'enfoncent dans la foret, envoyée par leur mere pour aller cueillir des fraises pour la tarte qu'elle est en train de préparer. elle finissent par voir une vieille petite cabane avec de la fumée qui sort par la cheminée. la plus grande dahlia veut passer son chemin, la plus petite mya tres téméraire, veut absolument voir s'il y a quelqu'un dedans. elles se chamaillent à ce sujet quand tout a coup la porte s'ouvre dans un grincement. mais tjrs personne. il fait noir a l'intérieur. mais mya veut entrer et dahlia non. mya court et entre, dahlia a peur pour elle et la suit. a l'intérieur, une vieille dame au nez crochu et au chapeau de sorcière est en train de faire bouillir de l'eau sur la marmite sur le feu. elle dit bonjour aux filles et demandes si elles sont perdues, et si elles ont faim. dahlia dit non et non, mya dit oui et oui, au grand désespoir de dahlia. la sorcière sourit et dit que ca tombe bien, qu'elle prépare une bonne soupe. 10 fois, elle demande alors aux filles si elles aiment tel ou tel ingrédient. lorsque elle commence sa phrase on dirait qu'elle parle d'un ingrédient délicieux, et Mya crie OUI j'adore ! et Dahlia dit non. par exemple la sorcière demande si elles aiment le caramel MOU .... (ici mya dit OUI Dahlia dit NON) puis la sorcière termine : CHES grillées ! (= mouches grillées). pareil avec les "vers gluants" et 8 autres du meme genre. a la fin, la sorcière verse un grand bol de soupe et demande laquelle en veut. sans attendre de réponse elle se dirige vers mya car elle est persuadé qu'elle va dire OUI. Mais non mya dit NON, finalement je n'aime pas les mouches grillées, ni les vers gluants, ni les .... (tous les 10). et puis surtout, NON je mangerais jamais quelque chose que me donne un inconnu, encore moins une sorcière dans les bois. et les filles s'enfuient en riant.

Chacha smiled. Of course! We can make a pulley. It’s a simple machine that makes lifting heavy things much easier. A pulley? What’s that? Aryan asked. Chacha said, “A pulley is a wheel with a groove around it. When you pass a rope through the groove, it changes the direction of force. Instead of pulling straight up, you pull down, and it feels lighter” “Can we make one?” Aditi asked excitedly. “Sure! Let’s get some materials,” Chacha said. They found an old bicycle wheel, a rope, and a wooden frame. First, they attached the wheel to the wooden frame using nails. Then, they threaded the rope through the groove in the wheel and tied one end to an empty bucket. Aditi pulled the rope. the bucket lifted smoothly. “That’s the power of the pulley, It doesn’t make the bucket weigh less, but it helps you use less force to lift it.” The next morning, Daadi tried the pulley and was amazed. “Wah! They first searched all around the house for Teddify. Ahana then ran up to their dad. “Dad, do you know where Teddify is” asked Ahana. “I don’t know maybe she went for a walk,” said dad as he chuckled The girls walked down the street to the supermarket hand in hand. Helena asked, “Hi there have you seen Teddify?” “No sorry, not in the shop but I saw one on the park bench this morning ” said Bella sadly. They ran to the park, Helena found a teddy. “This is my teddy” screamed a little girl. “but but” sputtered Helena. Ahana asked both the little girls to please stop arguing, she crouched down to Helena and asked “Doesn’t Teddify have a jumper?” “Yes, she does, sorry” said Helena glumly walking back to the house. When they came back home, Kate saw Helena crying. “Oh no Helena are you alright? Why are you crying?” she asked. Ahana explained how Teddify was missing and how they searched for her everywhere the whole morning. “Mum, have you seen Teddify?” the girls asked. “Sorry no I have been busy doing laundry this morning” replied mum. Hearing this, Ahana’s face lit up “Follow me Helena” she cried. Five seconds later they were ripping clothes out of the basket and at the bottom they found a clean and shiny Teddify. Cuddling Teddify close Helena gave Ahana a big hug and thanked her. “Another case solved!!” the girls cried in unison.
